The Luci Center is a 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) non - profit organization. This means that much of our success is directly related to the generosity of others. Most of our support comes from private individual donations, we also apply for funding through grants, and hold fundraisers. Donations come in all forms and sizes from the single dollar to the hundred thousand dollars, each gift allows us to continue offering those with disabilities the opportunity to connect with horses. The power of the dollar can be realized when you stop to think that The Luci Center was founded with $705 in 1997. If an individual wishes to make a donation they can easily come to visit The Luci Center and see their generosity in action.

In Kind Donations

There are times when an individual or company may wish to make a donation of a product or materials rather than a monetary gift. These in kind donations are of great value to our program, it may be feed, straw or hay for our horses, fencing material, vaccinations, saddles, grooming tools, office supplies and many other items. Each in kind donation is a valuable contribution and we are grateful to those that have chosen The Luci Center to receive not only in kind donations but monetary donations as well.
