Adopt a Horse

Adopting a therapy horse is a wonderful opportunity for giving to family members, friends, business associates, the community, and children and adults with disabilities horses. Together we call all be in the Winner’s Circle.

People love to receive gifts. By adopting a therapy horse, you are giving more than just one gift. You are supporting an organization whose mission is to enhance the lives of both humans and horses. Your gift to yourself or others, keeps giving throughout the year!

All of The Luci Center horses are donated. They all have their own history of performance and accomplishments. There are also other variables that figure into how a horse finds it way to our program: age, health concerns, families move, children lose interest or outgrow their horse, or maybe the horse is just no longer wanted.

Horses that might otherwise be turned out to pasture, or have a somewhat undecided future either through private sale or public auction are donated to The Luci Center.

The horses that meet the requirements of The Luci Center program are then taken care of for the duration of their lives. Click here to view pictures and bios of horses.

“Starting Gate” - $25.00 Adoption Includes:

• Photo of the adopted horse
• Gift box with ribbon and gift card
• Personalized certificate of adoption

“Down the Stretch” - $50.00 Adoption Includes:

• Framed photo of the adopted horse
• Gift box with ribbon and gift card
• Personalized certificate of adoption
• Subscription to the Luci Center newsletter
• Leather key chain inscribed with horse’s name on brass plate

“Winner’s Circle” - $100.00 (& up) Adoption Includes:

• Framed photo of the adopted horse
• Gift box with ribbon and gift card
• Personalized certificate of adoption
• Subscription to the Luci Center newsletter
• Leather key chain inscribed with horse’s name on brass plate
• Recognition (for yourself or gift recipient) on permanent patron’s plaque at the Luci Center
