Sampson
Sampson is a Racking horse which means he has a very special and unusual gait. These horses have a very smooth four-beat gait – known as the ‘rack’ - which was developed to allow for comfortable rides for long periods. Sampson is a compact horse and stands at a comfortable height for our clients and sidewalking volunteers.
Originally from Georgia, Sampson was donated to The Luci Center by a loving owner looking for a new career for this fellow. Sampson’s exceptionally smooth gait and his accepting personality make him a superb therapy horse.
